Silver Arts is back again this year with an exciting line-up of arts activities.
The fourth edition of Silver Arts will take place over four weeks from 1 to 27 September 2015, with a myriad of arts activities, including workshops, exhibitions, performances, talks, seminars and film screenings, created and curated for seniors and by seniors. This annual event reached out to 34,000 participants over 19 venues island-wide last year. With more diverse collaborations between artists and community partners, Silver Arts has grown from strength to strength, from 13 programmes in 2012 to 45 programmes in 2014.
Catch inter-generational concerts by Silver Gems and Konsert Pop Malar Segar; the premier of two short films by Silver Films, and three consecutive weekends of song and dance at the National Library Plaza featuring local jazz music legend Jeremy Monteiro, contemporary dance group PRIME (UK), Jiu Jian and many more.
