About the instructor: Ian Tan (The Thistle Bindery)
Ian trained in bookbinding and book arts in Edinburgh, UK with the Owl & Lion Bindery. He established The Thistle Bindery in 2012 upon his return to this sunny island. As a Noise alumni from the Noise Art Mentorship in 2013, Ian had benefited much from the mentorship provided by the programme which had helped to hone his craft further. Now he hopes to reach out and share the joy of bookbinding through public workshops and outreach events.
