Paris Photo, the largest international art fair dedicated to the photographic medium, is now accepting applications for the 2017 show. After a landmark 20th edition with over 62,000 visitors, Paris Photo returns to the historic Grand Palais in Paris Thursday, November 9 through Sunday, November 12 with a preview day on Wednesday, November 8 (by invitation only).

Over 180 exhibitors from across the world will gather at Paris Photo to offer collectors and enthusiasts the most diverse and qualitative presentation of photography driven projects today. Leading galleries will showcase both historical and contemporary artworks from modern masters to emerging artists; specialized publishers and art book dealers will present unique and rare editions as well as book launches and artist signature sessions.

Main Sector Galleries will present a panorama of artworks with a special emphasis on solo & duo shows and thematic projects offering visitors the opportunity to make discoveries as well as rediscover leading artists through a viewing of an artistic ensemble.

PRISMES, a specially curated sector located in the prestigious Salon d’Honneur atop the majestic central staircase of Grand Palais, will feature galleries presenting 14 exceptional projects including large-formats, series, moving images and/or installation works exploring the uses of the photographic medium in its most diverse forms and practices.

Applications for Main Sector Galleries and the Book Sector are available online through Tuesday, April 4.
Applications for the PRISMES Gallery Sector are available online through Tuesday, May 30.

The Public Programme is a central aspect of the Fair providing visitors with first-hand insights and access to the art world. The programme includes curated exhibitions with renowned public and private institutions, the Platform cycle of talks with curators, artists, collectors and critics, the Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards, and special events exploring the unique history of the medium; varying visions, practices and emerging trends.
