The Parkview Museum Singapore’s latest exhibition titled Intriguing Uncertainties focuses on contemporary drawing.
The exhibition brings together 42 artists from Europe, Asia, Africa and North & South America, exploring the complexity of our contemporary existence through art. Viewers are confronted with improbabilities and uncertainties that are not just the result of the artistic imagination but components of actual reality. These uncertainties and phenomena are especially present in our chaotic, unstable and confusing world which is rife with conflict. These uncertainties and improbabilities have the power to liberate the viewer’s imagination and invite them to engage more readily with art on an emotional and intellectual level. The exhibition will be on from 3 September 2018 to 1 May 2019.
