Guests at the Emporium in Bangkok, Thailand, welcomed 2018 with a golden revelation art exhibition by renowned Singapore Fengshui master turned artist, The Colours of Prosperity and Elegance” feng shui art exhibition by Emeritus Master Yun Long Zi.
The exhibition showcased 108 pieces of paintings and jade sculptures. Emeritus Master Yun Long Zi has thoughtfully curated the whole series of The Colours of Prosperity and Elegance to capture the essence of his wisdom, as well as the energies of prosperity and good fortune as positive meditations were chanted. At the same time, Emeritus Master Yun intuitively created each painting. Each painting has eight to 12 layers, comprising gold and silver, and special glow in the dark paints, which symbolise Light within Darkness.
The Guest-of-Honours, Her Royal Highness Princess Buppha Devi and His Royal Highness Prince Tesso Sisowath graced “The Colours of Prosperity and Elegance” feng shui art exhibition by Emeritus Master Yun Long Zi, collaboration with UOB and The Emporium Group. While special guests from around the world, such as China, Singapore and Europe, flew into Bangkok to celebrate the event.
Guests were treated with special edition Laurent-Perrier La Cuvee champagne designed by Emeritus Master Yun, specially flown in from Paris. And two special performances by Emeritus Master Yun as he unveiled two extraordinary paintings, a calligraphy painting and another covered in 22k gold. Artitute had the honour to witness the pure and vibrant energy of Emeritus Master Yun’s performances.
Emeritus Master Yun Long Zi, the sixth-generation feng shui master, painter, and Chinese calligrapher, is an acclaimed artist and celebrated feng shui exponent. The extraordinary dimensions of Emeritus Master Yun Long Zi’s celebrated work, namely Heavenly Time, Earthly Resources and Human Will, are represented by his outstanding characteristics of the paintings. The paintings change their presentation as the day moves into the night with phosphorescent paint that glows and comes alive in UV light. Furthermore, each piece of art is rendered in prized materials such as 18K and 24K (pure) gold and silver and infused with Emeritus Master Yun Long Zi’s inspiration, bringing prosperity and good fortune to people.
The exhibition was a huge success which brought a spontaneous amount of energy and ended on a high and positive note after Emeritus Master Yun’s surprise performances.

Artitute had the honour to interview the artist himself and Mr Nigel Chua, First Vice President, Group Channels & Digitalization, United Overseas Bank. Mr Nigel Chua spoke with us about their first meeting and UOB’s collaborations with Lotus on Water. At the same time, Emeritus Master Yun gave us precious insights into what inspired his creativity and the process behind every artwork.
