Sunday morning is the best time for many to sleep in and catch their Zs. However, about 40 Singapore bloggers and photographers took to the streets of Raffles Place at 9am on Sunday (18th December 2011) morning, to participate in the Elephant Parade Photo Adventure @ Marina Bay, organised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority Singapore (URA).

Their effort paid off as three artists greeted them at their elephants. Jahan Loh of Cherryphant, Simond Chew of All Together Now and Ketnal Patel of Stop Asians Ahead!. The artists were pleased to sacrifice their Sunday morning to meet the bloggers. Giving them insights into their ideas and designs of their elephant sculptures.

The walk ends at The Fullerton Heritage Gallery with a light reception.
Even the rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of the bloggers. The walk started off at One Robertson Quay towards Marina Bay Sands, Raffles Green and ends off at The Fullerton Hotel. Light refreshments were provided by the Fullerton Heritage Gallery, where a Q & A session closes the event.
