Sundaram Tagore Gallery is seeking submissions from locally based artists for a 3-by-10-meter mural on the outside wall of the gallery at 5 Lock Road, Gillman Barracks. The successful candidate will be asked to produce the work in front of a live audience during Gillman Barracks’ anniversary weekend September 23 to 25, 2016.
Submissions should relate to the gallery’s mission, reflect the gallery’s aesthetic, and the general surroundings of Gillman Barracks. The winner will be selected by Sundaram Tagore.
Deadline for submissions is August 31, 2016. The winner will be contacted by Sept. 8.
The successful candidate will be paid SGD $15,000 which will include the cost of materials.
