In a little place in town, in a really conspicuous building named ION, you might hear a little buzzing, and maybe a spot a tiny bit of oozing, the curiosities of young talent that is making some noise here in Singapore. If you are in the area, head down to basement 4 and you will chance upon ‘Noise City’. A little cacophony of graffiti plied buildings brimming with the abundance of illustrative, photographic and musical works created by over 1000 aspiring young artists in Singapore. Ranging from hyped up reality to alluring fantasy to psychedelic pop culture, the sheer amount of talent is well, somewhat staggering. There are eye-catching works displayed at every corner from ‘Apprentice ‘Avenue to ‘Winners’ Street, not to mention specially commissioned billboards and merchandise as well as live performances by artists from the singer-songwriter category and apprenticeship programme, which are sure to whet your appetite. Prepare to have your five senses engaged, overloaded and then re-engaged again wherever you turn! So what are you waiting for? Head on down to Noise City today for a sweet symphony of sight and sound!

More about Noise Singapore
Noise Singapore traditional holds an annual open call for artist submissions in the areas of Art & Design, Photography and Singer Songwriter categories. The shortlisted artists are then featured in a showcase along with the artists from TAP (The Apprenticeship Programme) an artist grooming programme initiated by Noise and facilitated by mentors from the local creative industry. Noise Singapore has been a platform for budding artists and has launched talents like Eman Clogtwo Raharno, Anthony Antz Chong and Caramelaw.
