This October, Singaporean musicians Cheryl Peixin Lee, Ng Wei Ping and Bingling Wu present the unusual combination of soprano and solo violin on the chamber music stage. In their first collaboration back home, the trio engages us in an evening of 20th Century chamber music, with works by Gustav Holst, Heitor Villa-Lobos and György Kurtág.
Join them in a new sonic experience, as they re-articulate the relationship between voice and violin, blurring the lines between formalism and expression, human and man-made, noise and voice.
Date: 25 October 2016, Tuesday
Time: 8.01PM
Venue: Esplanade Recital Studio
