Using objects in their environment, this series of workshops will provide students with an introduction to photography as a visual storytelling tool.
We begin with Introduction to Photography, where we go through the basic concepts of photography; learning how aperture, shutter speed and ISO will affect images and composition techniques to make better images.
In the second workshop Storytelling With Your Toys, participants will learn to make photo stories using our environment and toys.
In the last workshop, participants will learn about Light Painting, where we practice exposure techniques and use light to draw patterns in our images.
The workshops are recommended for students between 10 to 14 years old.
